Leaving ahead of time from the party, I saw nothing, heard nothing and gained nothing, all I felt around me was darkness.
It was still raining, with no moon, no star in the sky, and no people, no sound around the street, I felt awfully cold. I just kept running to the bus station, wondering if I was lucky enough to see a beautiful bus still waiting for me in the cold. I tried with my efforts, only to find a dull light struggling in the middle of the station. What a pity!
Cold and quiet, it was still raining.
“I don’t want to stay here any longer, I must go home”, I said to myself, as I headed for the phone booth under the light.
I dialed the number and then heard the words almost ten miles away from here. It was Dad, waked up by my coldness. I couldn’t say anything because frankly speaking, parents and family members would always be the most important people to me throughout the life.
Freezing and quiet, it went on raining.
I sat down in the dull light, began to feel ashamed of myself and got to complain about the boring party and the tedious rain. What a day!
So near so far, I heard his voice. I couldn’t help thinking of my father because there had been a time when I thought he didn’t know a thing about being a good father. He just got drunk every week and would always have words with mother, what’s worse, he shouted at us or beat us with anger. Well, I was still a child at that time, knowing nothing but running, jumping and crying. So It was not my fault, I just knew it clearly that he never said the words “I love you” to me, nor did it stop causing me into wondering whether I was his own son or not.
But now, I was ashamed to know that he loved me more than anyone else in the world and I was sure that I was the one loving him the most.
Almost two hours later, I came to myself, shocked to find that it was already 10:00 p.m. Definitely, it was awfully late. Without thinking any more, I struggled to my feet and ran straightly into the street, taking it completely for granted that he should have already been there now.
“What’s wrong?” To the great shock of me, I couldn’t find my beloved father, “What happened?”
I kept seeking, with my faces frozen.
Thanked god for not letting me down. A few minutes later, the familiar sound of the motorbike reminded me of one sentence I read in a short story, “No matter what happens, I will always be there for you.” And now, you did it, my great dad.
Seeing the wet hair, the frozen hands, the warm smile and the spectacular lines on father’s great faces, I lowered my head and wondered if he sensed my shame. If he did, I was sorry I never told him how sorry I was, how unworthy I was, how I regretted it. How could I explain?
Fortunately, drops of rain gradually disappeared, and now, the stars were shining, the air was warm.
The new iPhone was unveiled on June 7th by Steve Jobs at the World Wide Developers Conference.(WWDC) A lot of us that follow the iPhone already got a sneak preview when Gizmodo showed off images of a lost/stolen iPhone weeks ago, but there was still plenty to see.
New Features
First and foremost the most impressive, the new Retina display. While Apple did not increase the size of the screen (currently 3.5″) they did pack as many pixels in there as humanly possible. The result a stunning 326 ppi (pixels per inch) screen with so many pixels you can’t see a single one. Text is smooth, images are crisp and all other phones you look at afterwards will look like crap. In addition to this Apple has doubled the resolution from 480X320 to 960X640.
Second another long sought after feature a LED flash. While many phones have had flashes for years it’s nice to see Apple catch up by adding it this year. In addition to the flash they have upgraded the camera from 3mp to 5mp, again many other phones have done this already with some phones as high as 12mp but the quality on this camera dwarfs many that have higher mega pixels. The front facing camera is also a nice touch but the quality isn’t as high with it being only a VGA camera. mypadmedia review
Facetime is the new feature which will utilize the new front facing camera but almost no one will be able to use it. It only works on wi-fi and only for iPhone 4 to iPhone 4 calls, although Apple says in the future it will work on 3G and be an open standard for all phones to adopt. My thoughts, don’t hold your breath and while they may have cute commercials for it it’s just not something I can imagine using as more than a way to show it off.
Another cool new feature is the built in three-axis gyroscope. This by itself isn’t all that exciting but when added to the accelerometer, gps, and proximity sensors you have a device that can sense your every move and that will make for some very cool games, imagine your phone will now be as intuitive as a Wii remote.
Upgraded Features
Now the upgraded features are almost more impressive than the new ones, while they have packed all these cool new features in this new iPhone they have also managed to fit in a bigger battery that will last longer than anything Android has to offer. With all this you’d think the new iPhone is bigger, but guess again it is 24% thinner than the 3gs at just .37 inches thick!
Another cool upgraded feature is the video camera, the LED flash can be used in low light and it is capable of 720p (HD) video. And with the new iMovie app ($4.99) you can edit and upload video with ease. This new phone will make the need for owning a camera or video camera not so much of a priority unless your a professional photographer/videographer.
Design
Now this is where they took a cool device and made it look sleek, sexy and futuristic. They ditched the curved back and went back to a flat surface. Now front and back they have coated the phone in a unique new glass which is 30 times harder than plastic, scratch and fingerprint resistant and comparable to sapphire crystal.(how cool is that!) Also they have developed a new blend of stainless steel along the edge of the phone that also houses the antenna. No more cheap plastic or aluminum parts, this phone is built to last.
Speed
While every iPhone has increased speed this year sees the biggest jump, with Apple’s A4 processor (same as the iPad) they have increased the speed from 600mHz to 1gHz. Also are you sick of your phone freezing up on games? (ex. Sim City) Well they’ve also doubled the amount of ram available from 256mb to 512mb to handle more complex tasks and prevent games from crashing.
Overall
I’m going to buy one, while a lot of cool new features (multi-tasking, springboard wallpapers, etc) will be included in the iOS4 software update the new iPhone itself contains enough new features to convince me (plus it looks really cool). While I may not be waiting in line all night for one, I will buy one as soon as I can (June 24th). While Android may offer more features and some higher specs, iPhone yet again shines as a more user friendly and polished device. mypadmedia

I like travelling by train—fast expresses, slow local trains which stop at every station— I enjoy them all. It’s usually very interesting to take trains, but when it comes to a long journey, maybe you won’t feel so. Last summer holiday, I had experienced an unforgettable trip by train.
It was the day that I went home with a schoolmate. We came to the train station at noon. There were huge crowds of people waiting in the station hall. So did us. Inside the hall, almost every seat was taken. A lot of people shared one seat with two men. Some were sleeping, some were eating, some were reading magazines, and some were just looking at others. There were so crowded more than I expected. The majority were students. It’s reasonable because it was the time that most college students went home for summer holiday. In order to catch the train, we bought the tickets ten days advanced. We found some place to sit and chatted about some anecdotes in school. Meanwhile, I watched out for everybody getting close to me. Mom told me that a lot of thieves would take this chance to work. Be careful when we stayed in crowded places.
Before we checked in, a bulletin board drew our attention. It was said that the train we were supposed to catch will not stop at the station which we should get off. We were worried because this train was the only one train to get us home. We were totally at a loss. Neither of us had ever met this situation before. We can buy other tickets but the date we back home will be postponed for about ten days. We were so eager to go home that we didn’t like to wait. After a few minutes, we decided to catch that train, get off at the terminal station, and then take another train to go back to our destination.
We got on the train with anxiety because we thought we were not allowed to board. The conductor came to us and checked our tickets. We asked her: “can we get off at the terminal station? We cannot get off at our destination. We are so eager to go back home. Can you help us? ” And then she told us:“you can get off at the next stop of your destination. We will contact the station service department and assure you can take the return train to get you home.” Thanks God! What an intimate service! There were so many good people around our life. The railway service really did us a great favor! We were released as the train started.
It’s pleasant to ride on trains. You can walk around; especially you can stretch your legs when you feel tired of sitting in a settled seat, which cannot be done in a car or on a bus. You can look at the scenery out of the window, and observe you next passengers. Furthermore, people around can share their interesting adventures. It’s really easy to pass time.
The next day, we reached a big railway station. The workers on the railway arranged us to catch another train without changing the sportsbettingchamp.com tickets and paying once more. This time, it was a short trip that only one hour later we could get home. Maybe it’s closer and closer getting home, both of us were exciting. The wind blowing on our faces swept away the bad mood along us with the trip. Bright sunshine lighted up our heart. I found that I never saw sky as blue as that day.
Shortly after, we arrived at the small station.This was the first time that i spent a whole day in the trip.And this was the first time that i learned how to handle problems independently. i learned to ask for help in public and be confident toward difficulty.This was really an unforgettable trip.

First ,let me think about the matter happened today,first in first,i still went out for a damn driving exersice at a vert early mornig .it is absolutely fucked-up,i cursed for almost every moment when I was forced to be pulled up by my dear parents.I bet you that today is no exception.such a tragedy!
then,I have a tiresome mum ,tell it like it is.when I am enjoying my frozen sucker so as to drop off vatigue,I am afraid if mum suddenlt burst into my bedroom,then I would be busted.however,speak of the devil,mum really came back home,I suddenly had no idea to deal with it.last,I was busted.
and then again,that’s all about ,so no “then”.I just hoped I can be a little more fortunate while doing everything.phew!goddamn it!
Luckily I met with an e-pal who recommended this website to me and I found it’s cool to keep English memos.

Today’s big news for me in Chengdu is food, or say, tasted beef. I went to houcaller which is a great beefsteak restaurant in China and I ate the Australia style. Really it tastes well and the 50% cooked made me eager to take it. My girlfriend chose the NewYork style and really it smelt that well.
Strongly recommend these two styles of beefsteak to all of you.
