My favourite English film is about a motivational one named Th-e pursuit of Happiness,in which the poor protagonist ChrisGardn-er was acted by famous film star WillSmith.
The whole story is telling us about what does happiness mean. Chris introduced us some of his life parts and we knew how difficult his life was bofore he became a member of a big com-pany. In my eyes,he was a real man.Perhaps he was not young and was in povertyd and his wife left him,He wanted to cry ,but he could not, because he had a son .in a way ,his son was his tomorrow, was what he worked for! Even when he bacame a tramp with his son and was not sure whether he could persist in his dreams or not ,he still told to his son that: You have a dream, you got to protect it. You want something. Go get it!
what most impressed me was what happened when in public westroom .He cried holding his son. A child described the westroom as a cave !yeah ,it was a cave !He really knew that it was only a cave that only could protect them for a while !So next time when he needed help ,he did not get again.
Almost too heartbreaking to be uplifting even if it ultimately did it, but still engaging and driven by another very good. The course of achieving happiness was so tough, only just because of this,we would chrish the happiness.
Watching Chris’ eyes, what I got was not the source of happiness but the greatness of dreams. We all have our dreams, the person who finally made their dreams come true was really owned abilities.Although a lot of injustice existed in this society,we couldn’t gave up hope and dreams. As the proverb says:where, there is a will, there is a way. When the happiness is coming,we should have our heart filled with appreciation enjoying all I have paid.Actually, happines may be around us,just we have not find out.
Finding a person who you love very much or one thing you like to do,what a kind of simple happiness! But even this simple happiness,we are not sure to get it.If so ,Easy to achieve worthwhile?
“Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” The authors of the American Declaration proclaimed happiness to be one of the essential rights that make life worth living. William James, the first American psychologist, echoed this emphasis on happiness: “If we were to ask the question: ‘What is human life’s chief concern? One of the answers we should receive would be: ‘It is happiness.’” Every philosophical and religious system has offered its pathway to happiness for the individual and the group. Happiness has been related to pleasure, refuge from pain, intellectual contemplation, union with God, friendship, children, wealth, honor, successful activity, and even state burial with statues! Today, scientists have joined the dialogue to seek answers about what contributes to happiness or, as they call it, “subjective well-being”.
If happiness is activity in accordance with excellence, it is reasonable that it should be in accordance with the highest excellence. – Aristotle The concept of happiness–while difficult to define– is obviously here to stay. But the desire for happiness can set up expectations that are often hard to fulfill. The right to pursue happiness was conceived of as an inalienable right; the entitlement that everyone be happy was never promised. As captured by Eric Hoffer, a misguided search we hope to provide a framework that will guide you in your personal pursuit of happiness.
How time flies, It has been eight years since I graduated, in the passed years ,I have been working in Shenzhen, Until now , I still haven’t no accomplishment,So I aways feel frustrated. I feel tired in this metropolis.Everyday I must face the work and pressure. However, I see I can’t give up , I must struggle for the better life .
Sometimes, I ask myself “what is happiness ?” Maybe different people have different answers. As for me , What the earth is happiness? ? ?
